Where to Buy Your Bubble Bath

Bubble baths are not just for kids, and in fact they can be incredibly therapeutic and relaxing. If you really want to get the full effect of a bubble bath, then there are a few items you will want to gather again in order to prepare the perfect bubble bath.

What You Will Need

Of course you can add in your own special items as well, but for a great bubble bath the basic things you will need include a CD player, soothing CDs or your favorite music, aromatherapy candles, a scented candle set, bath oils, bubble bath, and a loofah. If you enjoy reading you may want to bring in a favorite book or magazine, or maybe a crossword puzzle book if you want to make it more fun.

Preparing the Bath

Now you can get the bath ready, and the first thing is to put the drain in the tub and start the water. You can make the water as hot or cold as you like, but the best bubble bath will be one that is in warm water. Add in the bubble bath as the water is running, and usually a capful is all that you need. Now you want to light the aromatherapy candles and set them up around the tub or on the counter if you would prefer.

Remember that different scented aromatherapy candles will produce different odors and offer different benefits. Lavender for instance is good for relieving stress while sandalwood is used for relaxation.

If you have a dimmer switch you will want to set it on low or even turn the lights off completely because you have the candles and they will provide enough light.

Make sure that you allow the bathtub to fill right to the top and get lots of suds, and if you want more bubbles you can always add more to the running water at any time. Then you just turn off the water once the tub has filled and slowly enter. Take your time in the bath, and you may even want to close your eyes or turn your music to relax even more.

Bubble baths are great for relieving stress and promoting relaxation, and it is good to have at least one bath every week. Even if you have a busy or hectic life with your job or with kids running around the house, make sure that you take some time for yourself and enjoy a nice warm bubble bath every once in a while.
